Welcome!
My name is Sarah Barshop, and I am currently a junior at Marquette University. I am enrolled in the Diederich College of Communication, majoring in Broadcast and Electronic Communication.
I arrived at Marquette simply wanting to work in the sports industry, but it has been through my internships at 540 ESPN Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Bucks, 620 WTMJ, and my work with Marquette student media that I have discovered my passion to write, direct, and edit both video and photographs. My experiences since I stepped onto Marquette's campus have taught me about my desire to continuously improve, my positive attitude that helps to motivate others, and my ability to lead and take charge of a situation. I have spent the last three years covering Wisconsin sports (Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Marquette, Badgers, and Admirals), and although Chicago sports will always have my heart (this is the year!), I have been fortunate to work in a market where I have learned so much around so many great people.
